The midterms are going to be a bloodbath. Forget about the fact that Joe Biden and the Democrats have delivered on next to nothing; the GOP is gerrymandering the hell out of the new congressional map in their favor. The GOP has added enough safe seats in the house to regain control based on its redistricting alone.
We have to have independent and impartial non-partisan organizations redraw these district lines so that neither side racks up unfair advantages. Gerrymandering is incredibly undemocratic, and as long as it is around, your voice will continue to go unheard. Yes, both parties do it, as these pictures show, but the GOP overwhelmingly uses it in their favor. If it weren't for gerrymandering being legal, the Republican party would struggle ever to retain control of Congress because more people in this country aren't republicans. However, they continue to give themselves an edge by tweaking our electoral system and making it an advantage for them.
Partisan actors should not be able to carve out districts for themselves. This shouldn't happen, but hey, this is the United States, so we have to do everything ass-backward.
Modern Art or Gerrymandered District?

OK Dan. Sure. Gerrymandering is a bipartisan sport. Not recognizing does significant damage to the narrative you are putting forward. As evidence - look at what is happening in New York. Next......
